A leading insurance company in Greater London is seeking an experienced Actuary for a 12-month secondment. You will oversee quarterly reserving, annual business planning, and mentor junior team members. Ideal candidates will be qualified actuaries with strong Excel and coding skills, and experience in insurance reserving. Qualifications

  • Qualified Actuary, with Fellowship in the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent).
  • Strong Excel and coding skills, particularly in Python.
  • Familiarity with actuarial reserving, pricing or capital modeling techniques.
  • Experience in insurance related to reserving, pricing or capital modeling.
  • Excellent at engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for quarterly reserving and annual business planning.
  • Partner with Finance and Pricing and Underwriting teams.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the actuarial team.
