Job description

Equifind are looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join a global Real Estate Fund Manager, based by Bond Street, London. The firm is expanding and this hire is new, through growth.

As a result of this, they are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to further support the growth. This new hire will report into the FD/ Fund Controllers.

Key duties include:

  1. Take ownership of the monthly reconciliations and close process for all fund administration across all funds.
  2. Own the group consolidation and cash flow statements.
  3. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and board reports.
  4. Assist the Finance manager and the Financial Controller with the preparation of annual budgets.
  5. Manage service providers in submission of tax reporting obligations.
  6. Be the key point of contact for annual financial audits across the group.
  7. Support the delivery of accurate and timely management information and business intelligence.
  8. Assist with the implementation and subsequent migration of a new GL accounting system.
  9. Participate in ad hoc projects.
Key requirements:
  1. Ideally, but not essential - a Qualified accountant.
  2. A minimum of 10 years experience, ideally working within a group function.
  3. Prior experience of working with FCA regulated businesses preferred.
  4. Advanced-level Excel skills.
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements.
  7. Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills.
Package details:
  1. £70,000 - 80,000 base salary.
  2. Discretionary annual bonus.
