Job Description
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, including OMBs, SMEs, and limited companies, ensuring timely delivery of all accounts and tax requirements.
  • Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts, management accounts, and supporting schedules in line with accounting standards (FRS 102, FRS 105).
  • Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and other financial reporting prepared by junior team members.
  • Mentor, support, and supervise junior accountants, providing on-the-job training and technical guidance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
The Successful Applicant
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong background in accounts preparation and review for a mixed client base.
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills. Proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS, or similar platforms.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and committed to developing both personally and professionally.
