Overview

You’ll work on a variety of exciting consumer clients, managing accounts on a day to day basis, coming up with ideas and concepts to deliver on client objectives, as well as honing your client relationship and media strategy skills.

The Role: Senior Account Manager

Key Qualities
  • Prior SAM level experience in consumer PR, and specifically travel and tourism
  • Strong examples of PR campaigns and subsequent media placement for travel and tourism clients
  • An established network of media and industry contacts
  • Strong knowledge of UK media landscape and news agenda
  • First class project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and solid experience PR content creation
  • A creative flair and a passion for travel
  • Documents eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • A current UK driving licence is preferred
People Management
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of junior team members, including career development as appropriate
  • Provide timely, specific and constructive feedback
  • Manage junior team members to maximize productivity
  • Ensure deadlines and timeframes are being provided and met, managing Senior/Account Executives in the day-to-day running of accounts and keeping Account Directors updated with activities relating to each account
  • Look for and provide opportunities for individuals to expand roles and responsibilities
  • Recognise good work and achievement
