Job description

Due to organic growth, EG has a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our highly successful team.

Reporting to the Renewals Sales Manager, The Senior Account Manager SAM will be responsible for managing the commercial relationships with an assigned set of current customers. The SAM is expected to maintain strong positive professional relationships with those customers, leading to high renewal rates and revenue growth.

The SAM will be responsible for managing the top tier of adjacent accounts, across a range of sectors, such as finance, investor, legal and developers. The SAM will offer regular contact and support to these customers and will provide sound feedback to EG as to the viability and potential value of the customer relationship.

The SAM should be a self-motivated individual who can perform at high levels under pressure. They should be a creative thinker that can offer ideas about generating up-sell opportunities and new sales, and effectively deal with people to maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Advances sales skills which includes the ability to advance and close sales
  • Negotiation skills and previous successes in securing accounts at a profit
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the given account base, over the phone and in face to face meetings
  • Understand client requirements to identify upsell and uplift opportunities, and to mitigate risk to retain business
  • Researching business opportunities, setting up meetings, attending corporate events
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to provide end-user training and support
  • Create and own strategic account plans for customers to optimize their value to EG
  • Provide candid and well-documented status information to EG leadership on the AM’s customers’ engagement levels and likelihood to renew
  • Contact assigned customers for regular business reviews, as per EG expectations, to discuss their use of Radius and to discover how EG can provide more value
  • Identify, pursue, and achieve renewals, additional sales, and price increases from managed customers, meeting or exceeding monthly retention and sales targets
  • Provide EG management accurate long- and short-range forecasts of customer renewals
  • Provide EG management with constructive customer feedback to assist in product enhancements, marketing, and data strategies
  • Strong networking skills and ability to self-start and network within a client base
  • Experience in account managing top-level corporate subscription
  • Experience in dealing and negotiating with c-level executives
  • Face to face experience (confidence in meeting clients)
  • Willingness to use telephone-based communication to build relationships
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Legal right to live and work in the UK
  • Knowledge of the commercial property market
  • Salesforce.com experience and wider sales reporting experience
