A leading charity for individuals with disabilities is seeking a SEND Tutor to join their team in Brighton on a part-time, one-year fixed term basis. The successful candidate will assist young people with special educational needs, developing individual learning plans and enhancing communication and independence skills. Candidates should have a higher-level teaching qualification and an understanding of diverse learning needs. This role provides opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.
Could you be a SEND Tutor at Sense College? We have an exciting opportunity to join team as Special Education Needs and Disability Tutors at our College Centre based in Rothwell. This is a one year fixed term, part time vacancy working 30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 9.00am - 4.30pm, 41 weeks of the year (term time).
The successful applicants will support young people with special education needs as they prepare for adulthood. You will be part of a dedicated team of professionals assessing needs and writing person‑centred education programmes. You will support students in the classroom and out in the wider community. Improving the communication skills and independence of students is at the core of our curriculum.
