We are seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant who has experience with those with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and Physical Disabilities to join a large specialist Primary school in Portsmouth. This rewarding role involves supporting students with autism and additional needs both 1:1 and in small group settings, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential. You will be working within a specialist school alongside a committed team of staff who provide tailored interventions and guidance. The role will be starting from January 2026 with the school looking to make the position permanent for the right person.

The dedicated SEND team works closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Each adult within the school provides targeted support for students with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to major learning challenges.
