Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND needs

  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development through mentoring and guidance
  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld at all times
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs is essential
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
  • Strong understanding of strategies for managing diverse learning needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Salary: Your salary – dependent on experience – is paid weekly through PAYE – that means no self-employed or umbrella companies.
