Newcastle College Central Support Service is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Manager to join a passionate team that supports students across all provisions, with a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team of the service.
As a SEND Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience for our students. Your primary responsibility will be to lead on the development and management of the support of learners within specific cohorts, including those with care experience, and ensure that appropriate resources are in place to meet the needs of our students. You will also play a significant cross-college role, working strategically with leaders across the college and NCG, as well as external partners and agencies.
As the successful candidate, you will be an enthusiastic and adaptable person, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience in Education and have experience of leading a large team. The ability to work flexibly is essential.
