Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Harlow part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for an SENCO Co-ordinator to who is responsible for supporting, assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs.

Candidates MUST hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years. A Level 3 qualification in SEND would be an advantage.

Hours:

Either full-time or part-time 9am-3pm Monday - Friday

What will you be doing:
  • Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated.
  • Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
