Job description
The Role

You will provide 1:1 and_transsmall group support for students with SEN, which may include:

  • Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH needs
  • Supporting students with EAL (English as an Additional Language)
  • Adapting learning materials and support strategies to suit individual needs
  • Promoting engagement, confidence and independence
  • Supporting behaviour positively using encouragement and positive reinforcement
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents/carers to support progress
What We're Looking For (Essential)
  • Minimum 6 months classroom-based experience in the UKA calm, empathetic and resilient approach
  • Strong communication skills and the abilityვალი to build positive relationships
  • Available to start immediately
Desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Experience supporting ASD/ADHD/SEMH and/or EAL learners
  • Team Teach or de-escalation training (December, not essential)
