We’re looking for a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant secondary school in Sheffield. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support for students with SEND
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support learning plans
  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive routines
  • Creating a safe, structured learning environment that meets individual needs
Qualifications
  • Experience working with young people with additional needs (school or care settings welcome)
  • A calm, patient approach with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and bring positivity into the classroom
  • Bonus points if you’ve had Thrive or de-escalation training (and if not, we’ll get you booked on for free!)
