Location: Peterborough

Position: Part‑Time / Full‑Time

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs in schools across Peterborough.

This is a rewarding opportunity for caring, patient, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and social development
  • Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant SEN qualifications or training desirable but not essential
