Flourish Education are working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Dudley, who are seeking to appoint a qualified 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a non‑verbal child in Year 5, starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position is a full‑time, classroom‑based role, providing dedicated 1:1 support to help the pupil access learning, develop communication skills, and engage positively within the school environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning experience.
The child is non‑verbal and requires consistent, patient, and individualised support to aid communication, emotional regulation, and participation in classroom activities. This role is ideal for someone with previous SEN experience who is calm, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based in Dudley, with easy access from nearby areas such as Stourbridge, Kingswinford, Brierley Hill, Cradley Heath, and Rowley Regis.
