Exciting Opportunity: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant in Chichester, West Sussex!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team at a secondary school in Chichester. This role offers a competitive annual salary of £21,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, with the opportunity for career growth and permanent contract after a probation period. Start date is ASAP.

About the Role

  • Student Support: Provide tailored assistance to students in the school's resource base.
  • Classroom Assistance: Aid teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Individual Guidance: Offer one-on-one support to students, helping them overcome learning challenges.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to the needs of students and the school environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or a strong understanding of SEN procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliability: A punctual and dependable individual who can work independently.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in education are a plus. Experience from a care background with SEN experience is also considered.
