Location: Ealing, London | Position: SEN Teacher | Start Date: ASAP / January 2026 | Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience | Contract: Full-time, Permanent.

Our students, who have been removed from mainstream education, require a tailored approach to learning and personal development. Key Responsibilities
  • Tailored Teaching: Delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN needs, particularly those with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
  • Behaviour Management: Implementing and maintaining effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies, promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
  • Individualised Support: Working closely with SENCo and other professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that support the academic and emotional development of each student.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with classroom assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support to students.
  • Assessment: Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing detailed reports and feedback, and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Parent Communication: Building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a background in Special Educational Needs or Behavioural Support.
  • Experience working with students who have behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties, preferably in a specialist setting.
  • A strong understanding of SEN frameworks and effective strategies for supporting students with behavioural challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable students.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
