SEN Teacher – Complex Needs & Life Skills

Location: Sunderland

Start: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, ongoing

Pay: £140 to £220 per day (PAYE)

Looking for a role where learning goes beyond the classroom and every day feels truly meaningful? This specialist Sunderland provision is searching for a teacher who can deliver a mix of functional skills, sensory learning, and independence-based activities.

What the role involves:
  • Teaching learners with a range of complex needs, including communication differences and physical disabilities

  • Planning lessons focused on life skills, sensory regulation, and functional understanding

  • Working closely with therapists, TAs, and families

  • Creating a warm, structured learning environment

  • Helping pupils move towards independence, step by step

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
