Connex Education is seeking a dedicated full-time SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialised Stockton pupil referral unit, starting September 2025. This vital role, paying up to £475 per week, focuses on supporting students with profound learning difficulties and complex special educational needs. Working with students who have profound learning difficulties requires exceptional patience, empathy, and specialised skills. You’ll be supporting young people who may have severe cognitive impairments, multiple disabilities, or complex medical needs that significantly impact their learning and daily functioning.

The school offers a specialist environment with individualised learning plans, therapeutic interventions, and an experienced, supportive team.
This two day role (Monday/ Friday) provides an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in at-risk learners’ lives within a dedicated SEN setting. The full day is 8:30am-3:30am.
Candidates must be based in Teesside or surrounding areas. Apply if you’re passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable young people.
