Overview

SEN Teaching Assistant - January start!

Location: Daventry

Flexible hours - part time / full time

We are looking for an experienced, patient and dedicated TA to support pupils in mainstream education with SEN needs including ADHD and Autusm.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Keeping students engaged through fun and exciting activities
  • Building student confidence and independence
  • Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff
  • Being consistent and positive
  • Following the school behaviour policy
Required Experience and Skills
  • Experience with children in a school setting
  • An understanding of working with children with ADHD / Autism
  • Good communication skills
  • Patience and commitment to the role and the students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
