SEN Teaching Assistant - Princes Risborough (Primary School) | Long‑Term | Full‑Time/Part‑Time

Start Date: January 2026

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

A warm and inclusive primary school in Princes Risborough is looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, SEMH, and MLD
  • Assist in delivering differentiated lessons under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Support the implementation and review of EHCPs alongside staff and external professionals
  • Use a variety of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary or specialist setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable supporting personal care and sensory needs when required
  • Committed to safeguarding, continuous learning, and collaborative working
