About the Role: We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at our inclusive primary school in Knowsley, Merseyside. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs, including those with EHCPs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised learning programmes to pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Collaborate with class teachers, teaching assistants, and external agencies to support pupil progress
  • Maintain detailed records of pupil development and contribute to review meetings and EHCP processes
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support home-school links
About You / Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs)
  • A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • A nurturing and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
