Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary: Dependent on experience

A charming and popular specialist primary school in Rochdale is seeking a caring, dedicated, and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January 2026. This full-time, long-term role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils with EHCPs who require individualised support.

About the Role

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs across the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1 : 1 support for pupils with EHCPs
  • Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
  • Helping children develop confidence, communication skills, and independence
  • Creating a warm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and wider school teams
