SEN English Teacher - Northampton

Location: Northampton • Full-Time • Immediate

Are you a qualified English teacher with a passion for Special Educational Needs? Do you have the creativity, adaptability, and compassion to make English accessible and engaging for all learners?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN English Teacher to join welcoming SEN schools in Northampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

The Role

As a SEN English Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated English lessons
  • Support pupils working significantly below age-related expectations
  • Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and therapists
  • Monitor progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Foster confidence, independence, and a love of learning

Requirements
  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent (Essential)
  • SEN or SEMH teaching experience (Desirable)
