Qualifications

• Accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA).
• Experience in an accountancy practice for at least 4 years.
• Familiarity with Corporation Tax.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client bookkeeping.
• Prepare complex company financial statements.
• Prepare interim management accounts.
• Prepare personal tax returns.
• Prepare partnership accounts and returns.
• Review and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Produce forecasts and business projections.
• Attend client meetings and engage confidently.
• Prepare P11ds where required.

Skills

ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to completion)

At least 4 years in an accountancy practice

Corporation Tax experience

Proficiency in Sage 50

Proficiency in Xero

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Strong attention to detail

Strong written and technical capability

Effective prioritisation and organisation

Ability to manage confidential information

Reliable record keeping

Willingness to work occasional paid additional hours
