Job summary

An educational agency is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support young people's learning in Morpeth. The ideal candidates will have a background in Sports Coaching, with responsibilities including supporting pupils with SEMH on a 1:1 basis and in groups. Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in schools in the UK.
• Hold right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils both 1:1 and in small groups to enhance learning.
• Develop understanding of pupils' needs and learning styles.
• Assist with varying levels of SEMH and challenging behaviour.
