SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bexley. This is a permanent, full‑time role within a small specialist resource provision, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Salary starts from £25,354+ per annum, depending on experience.

As an SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, regulate their emotions, and develop positive behaviours. You will work closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and external professionals to provide consistent, nurturing, and structured support tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
