A specialized educational support agency is seeking a SEMH Learning Support Assistant in Wandsworth. The role involves providing academic and emotional support to children with challenging behavior. Ideal candidates have a degree in Psychology, Youth Studies, or similar, but passion and resilience are equally valued. Salary Scale: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term

As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will provide consistent support to children with challenging behaviour and complex needs, many of whom may have experienced trauma, social difficulties, or adverse childhood experiences. Your role will be to build trust, nurture resilience, and provide academic and emotional support while working closely with experienced staff and therapeutic teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields – though non-graduates with passion, compassion, and resilience are equally encouraged to apply.
