If you answered yes, then this job opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant at a specialised Primary School in Salisbury may be for you!

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students aged 11-16 years old who are unable to attend mainstream school due to medical needs, severe anxiety, or general mental health needs.

This school works closely with external professionals and their own multi-disciplinary team to create bespoke learning plans tailored to each student’s emotional and educational needs.

  • SEN(D) and SEMH experience
  • A patient, resilient, innovative and caring individual with a compassionate approach to supporting children
  • Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
