A healthcare facility in York is seeking a CCTV Security Engineer to enhance the safety of patients and staff. This role involves the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems, compliance audits, and training of operators. The position offers development opportunities through specialist training. The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week with occasional out-of-hours needs.

We are looking for a CCTV Security Engineer to join our Resources team. This is a unique opportunity to support Our NHS ensuring the security of people and property on our sites. Our department provides management, development, maintenance and operational support for the Trust's security systems and infrastructure. The role is critical to the Security and Car Parking Department's maintenance support service. As a demanding and varied role, it covers a range of security principles and services. The role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning and maintenance of a range of security related services across all parts of the Trust's facilities. Be part of a team that is constantly working to improve the quality and safety of the Patients, Public, Staff and Trust's healthcare facilities. We believe in evolving our staff knowledge and competencies. As such you will have the opportunity to further develop through the apprenticeship scheme and specialist training opportunities. The successful candidate will be required to work across the Trust Sites. However, you will mainly be based at Scarborough or York Hospital. Your main working schedule will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. but occasional out of hours works maybe requested for safety compliance or contingency planning.
