Our hotel

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests. As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

  • Maintain a professional and personable relationship with all our guests
  • Monitor surveillance cameras
  • Support our Health Security & Safety Manager to put security measures in place for VIP individuals and guests to the hotel and surrounding area
  • Carry out security patrols
  • Support the department with general administration duties
  • Assist guests and staff with security-related matters while maintaining discretion and courtesy
  • Report and record all incidents in accordance with hotel policy
  • Liaise with management and local authorities when necessary

This role involves working evenings and weekends.
