Overview

Seddon Agency is looking to expand its operations and bring in new Security Operatives. The purpose of the role is to respond to incidents, carry out regular patrols, always provide a security presence and complete all security paperwork ensuring the safety of the client's premises.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and provide regular high profile external and internal patrols.
• Control access to entrances and ensure only authorised personnel are allowed to enter.
• Keep a log of all site activity and complete all site security paperwork (including incident reports, sign in/out sheets, patrol logs, daily logs and handover sheets).
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
• Prevent incidents and damage by providing a visual presence and reporting all incidents to the authorities.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid SIA licence (include in application).
• Strong communication and basic IT skills.
• Discretion, objectivity and dependability; integrity and safety management; professionalism and reporting skills.
• Experience in security-related roles is desirable.
