Overview

Seddon Agency is looking to expand its operations and bring in new Security Operatives. The purpose of the role is to respond to incidents, carry out regular patrols, always provide a security presence and complete all security paperwork ensuring the safety of the client's premises.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and carry out regular patrols to provide a security presence on the client's premises.
• Control access to entrances and ensure only authorised personnel are allowed to enter.
• Keep a log of all site activity and complete all security paperwork (incident reports, sign in/out sheets, patrol logs, daily logs and handover sheets).
• Provide regular high-profile external and internal patrols and secure premises by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and permitting entry.
• Prevent incidents and damage by maintaining a visual presence and reporting all incidents to the authorities.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtain signatures.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence (include in application).
• Communication and basic IT skills.
• Surveillance skills: judgment, objectivity, dependability, integrity, safety management, professionalism, and reporting skills.
• Experience.
• Must be flexible for 12 hour shifts and available for immediate start.
