A leading energy company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Contracts Project Manager to oversee physical security projects on a 12-month temporary contract. The ideal candidate should have experience in project management, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of physical security systems. This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern, balancing remote work with site visits across various locations.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Contracts Project Manager to join our Physical Security team on a 12-month temporary contract (subject to review) starting as soon as possible. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the delivery of physical security projects across NGED’s operational sites, working closely with contractors, procurement, finance teams, internal stakeholders, and our physical security specialists. You’ll be the key link between NGED and awarded contractors, ensuring projects are scoped accurately, contracted effectively, and delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Your work will be critical in supporting NGED’s physical security re-opener, strengthening the resilience of our security estate, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the safe and secure operation of our business. While we’d ideally like the successful candidate to be based in a central location such as Bristol or Cardiff, you can be based within any of our licence areas: West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, or Wales. This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern, enabling you to balance time between home, office, and site visits. You can expect regular travel to operational sites around 1–2 days per week, with occasional overnight stays when needed.
