Secure Unit Support Worker | Channel Islands

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a secure children's unit based in the Channel Islands who are looking for experienced support workers to work within a Secure Residential Children's Home.

Due to the nature of the role, and the complexity of the service users it is necessary for you to have worked in a secure setting previously within the last 3 years.

You will take part in sleep duties within the homes, meaning overnight stays, however this comes with the benefit of stand by pay (0.25x your hourly rate) as well as full pay if you get called out - not to mention they pay 2x on bank holidays!

On top of this you will also be outside IR35 - meaning almost half the tax you would pay on the mainland, as well as paid travel/moving costs, and accommodation provided.

Requirements
  • Hold at least a level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care or Equiv
  • Be over 21
  • Hold a clean driver’s license
