Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an English Teacher for a secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent. We are looking for an individual who is able to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every student is able to achieve their full potential.

About the role
  • Start-date: November 3rd
  • Ongoing/long-term

The successful candidate will have the ability to engage and inspire students across KS3/4; delivering creative and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum. You will play a key role in developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills, preparing them for academic success and ensuring they have the confidence to grow.

What we’re looking for
  • QTS specialising in English
  • Experience teaching KS3/4 (trainee placements included)
  • Strong classroom management skills with good knowledge of current behaviour management techniques
  • Passionate about literature, language, and student achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and other members of the department
