At The Entertainer, Orpington The Walnuts Shopping Centre, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different!

With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant.

Key Information about this role
  • Rates of Pay
    • 16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour
    • 21-year-old plus - £12.36 per hour
  • Contract end date: 3rd January 2026
  • Store hours: Open 7 days a week; you will need to be able to support weekends including Sundays
Hours

A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts. If you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, please provide as much detail as possible in your application. There may also be an opportunity for extra hours in this role, depending on trade.

All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts include working on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve – they’re some of our busiest days of the year.

Requirements
  • Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work; there may be the chance of extra hours too if we\'re busy
  • Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
  • Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
  • Be willing and able to help out in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries
