Seasonal Sales Assistant

Key information

• Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026
• Store open 7 days a week; you will need to support weekends including Sundays
• Hours available: 12-hour per week contract (you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and different days; provide as much detail as possible in your application
• There may also be an opportunity to work extra hours depending on trade
• Seasonal contracts require work on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve

Responsibilities

• Support customers in finding toys and gifts; keep shelves full and store welcoming
• Move stock around the store; assist with deliveries and pallets
• Help out in our local Tesco concession space when needed
• Merchandising and delivering excellent customer service
