A pioneering biotechnology company in Oxford seeks a scientist to engineer TCR molecules and conduct experimental investigations. The role requires expertise in protein expression and purification, with a focus on collaborative work within a diverse team. The ideal candidate has several years of related experience, holds a BSc or MSc in a relevant field, and values precision and detail in scientific work.
The main purpose for the incumbent in this role is to engineer ImmTAX molecules to support advancement of pipeline programs. This includes identification and characterization of wild type TCRs, affinity and specificity engineering, and production of engineered molecules for further assessment. The individual works effectively within established procedures, potentially introducing new methodologies.
