SCIENCE TECHNICIAN NJC Grade 4 Point 5-7 Salary: £25,583- £26,403 this is the full time equivalent salary and this will be prorated. Permanent Stanwell School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well organised Science Technician to join our Science Department.

Working hours for the post are 8am to 3.30pm for five days a week, term time only (no INSET days). The successful candidate will provide a technician service to the Science Department.

They should have a friendly, positive and professional manner.

Previous experience of working in a laboratory or school would be an advantage.

This is a varied role; requiring:

  • The capacity to work hard under pressure and to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • The confidence to make decisions, knowing when to consult and when to act.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work in partnership with both staff and pupils.
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic team player.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
