Job description
Oundle School (Science Technician – Chemistry & Physics)

Oundle School is seeking an experienced Science Technician to support the day‑to‑day operation of the technical support and prep room in the state‑of‑the‑art Patrick Engineering Centre, and to assist with the teaching of Chemistry and Physics.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the technical support and prep room.
  • Support the teaching of Chemistry and Physics.
  • Maintain equipment and laboratory safety protocols.
Working Hours and Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, working 36.4 weeks per year with pay for 41.33 weeks (to include entitlement to holiday pay). Specific working hours can be discussed during the interview.

Salary

£24,781 pro rata, £31,179 full‑time equivalent.

Location

The role is based in the Patrick Engineering Centre, part of the Sci‑Tec campus near the heart of the school.
