An educational institution in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to support the Science Department in preparing materials and assisting students during practical sessions. The role requires attention to health and safety, and while experience is desirable, full training is provided. This position is based on a permanent contract, working 32.5 hours a week during term time. The starting salary is £19,613, with a welcome bonus of £1,000 offered.

Support the teaching of science by preparing and distributing practical materials to the appropriate laboratories. Keep practical materials clean and store them with due regard to health and safety. Assist students in practical sessions when required and participate in devising and developing new practical demonstrations.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.
