This is your opportunity to guide Key Stage 3 and 4 students toward GCSE success and future careers in STEM. Your Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS
4. Prepare students for GCSE examinations with a focus on both theory and practical skills.
Manage laboratory environments safely, ensuring all students follow correct practical protocols.
Create an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities and needs.
Use data-driven insights to identify learning gaps and provide targeted interventions.
Foster a positive atmosphere built on mutual respect and a passion for enquiry.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
Essential Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). Ability to use "Assessment for Learning" to drive student outcomes.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding, with a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history.
