We are currently seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school from January, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and well‑established environment.
We are looking for a motivated Teacher of Science (Biology specialism preferred) to deliver high‑quality lessons at KS3 and KS4. In this long‑term role, you will plan and teach engaging lessons, monitor and assess progress, and contribute to the wider school community. The school is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs, and the post may become permanent for the right candidate.
Plan, prepare, and deliver Biology lessons at KS3/KS4.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
Contribute to the Science curriculum and department activities.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Engage with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student achievement.
Degree in Science (Biology preferred) and UK QTS.
Experience teaching Science in secondary schools.
Strong classroom management and safeguarding knowledge.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Competitive pay to scale from day one ( 185- 245 per day).
