A local education provider is seeking individuals to join the School Standards Board as community members. This voluntary role will involve contributing to the development plan of Salfords Primary School and engaging with parents and staff. Candidates should be open to diverse viewpoints, have strong analytical skills, and be willing to contribute to school priorities. Training is provided, and travel expenses may be claimed.
Fixed‑term contract of 4 years, salary TBC, based in Redhill, Surrey. Start date as soon as possible.
We are looking for committed individuals from the local community, and from all walks of life and backgrounds, to join the Schools Standards Board at Salfords Primary School. As an SSB member, you will contribute to and monitor the school’s development plan, which focuses on the key improvement priorities for the school. SSBs are the Trust Board’s interface with parents, staff and the community. You will gather and respond to feedback from parents and staff, develop and maintain community links, and provide regular feedback to the Trust Board on the performance of the school and stakeholder sentiment, thereby influencing the overall strategy of the Trust.
The role is voluntary, but you may claim travel expenses if required. Training is provided and you need not have education experience.
