Love coaching kids but don’t want the unpredictability of supply work? We’re hiring Sports Coaches for wraparound care and extracurricular sports clubs in Ipswich – with guaranteed hours, split shifts and no curriculum PE.

Sports Coach - Wraparound Care

Hours: 20 hours/week | Split shifts | Breakfast, lunch & after-school clubs

Pay: £10.00 - £12.21 per hour | Start ASAP

  • Active Breakfast club sessions
  • Lunchtime sports clubs
  • Active after-school clubs

All sessions are in local primary schools with children aged 4 to 11.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead active, engaging sessions
  • Keep children safe, supported and inspired
  • Build great relationships with school staff, parents and your fellow coaches
  • Support our multi-activity holiday camps (optional)
Working Pattern

This role is 20 hours per week (52 weeks or term-time only contracts available), delivered as split shifts (early mornings, lunchtimes and after-school).

Full training, uniform and kit provided.

What You’ll Need
  • Aged 18+ (Ofsted/insurance requirement)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A minimum of one Level 2 NGB sports qualification and/or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience coaching or leading groups of children
  • Confident in session planning and behaviour management
  • Valid (or willingness to obtain) enhanced DBS
