School Shop Manager
Part time

Wimborne, Dorset

Hours: 20 hours per week, Term time only plus additional weeks in school holidays

Salary: £14,547 per annum based on a FTE salary of £32,000 per annum

Founded in 1923, The School is set in 250 acres of inspirational parkland on the outskirts of Wimborne in Dorset. The school, which has some 660 pupils aged 13-18, is amongst the country’s top co-educational boarding and day schools.

The School Shop Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the school’s on-site shop, which provides school uniform, stationery, merchandise, and text books to all in our community. This role manages daily operations, stock control, sales performance, and budget oversight.

The School Shop is open Monday to Friday during the school term time, 8.00am‑1.30pm. During May, June, July and September the shop has extended opening hours and is very busy with appointments for kitting out new pupils with uniform, and managing orders and deliveries for the new school term. The School Shop Manager would be expected to work increased hours during this period.
