Overview

School Receptionists — £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming students, guests and parents into the school
  • Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed
  • Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary
  • Responding to emails
  • Letters to parents
  • Typing of letters and memos
  • Filing, faxing and photocopying
  • Dealing with parents and pupils
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience: It is advantageous that applicants have some school receptionist experience. However, applicants with strong receptionist experience in a similar sector will also be considered.
  • Contract type and hours: You must be willing to work on a temporary basis between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. There will be full-time and part-time positions available throughout the school year, running for a variety of time periods.
  • Potential progression: There may be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the schools, although this is not guaranteed.
  • Application note: Please only apply if you understand that the roles are temporary, as and when required.
  • Registration and DBS: You will be required to fully register with us, including providing right-to-work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS that will be processed by us but at a cost of £47.20 (unless you already have one registered on the Update Service). Please only apply if you are able to do this.
