An educational trust in Hedge End, Southampton, is looking for a committed School Premises Manager. This role involves managing site operations, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in site management and handyperson skills. School Premises Manager / Site Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with previous experience in a site management role or similar, who has handyperson / trade skills such as basic plumbing, carpentry and painting / decorating is required for an Education Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
SALARY: £27,779 per annum (Actual) + Benefits
LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year (actual working hours to be confirmed)
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a highly committed, enthusiastic and energetic School Premises Manager / Site Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with previous experience in a site management role or similar, who has handyperson / trade skills such as basic plumbing, carpentry and painting / decorating.
As the School Premises Manager / Site Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor you will manage a new school site, ensuring operational effectiveness whilst carrying out day to day maintenance tasks and overseeing site security and cleaning.
The role is varied and as the School Premises Manager / Site Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor you will have responsibility for Health & Safety systems, building maintenance, overseeing the site security, cleaning, record keeping, moving and handling of objects and deliveries, working at height and grounds maintenance.
Basic literacy and numeracy and IT/computer skills are essential for this role. Job specific training will be provided if required.
