Salary: Grade F scp 17 - 23 - Actual Salary £26,564 - £29,485 per annum

Hours: 37 per week term time plus 5 days

Contract type: Permanent

About the Role

Gaskell Primary School is seeking a highly organised and proactive School Operations & Communications Lead to join our team.

The primary purpose of this pivotal role is to organise and supervise administrative systems within the school. You will also contribute to the planning, development, and monitoring of support services and the management of support staff, including the coordination and delegation of relevant activities.

You will provide clerical, administrative, and financial support to the school.

Key Responsibilities (Summary)
  • Take a lead role in the planning, development, design, organisation, and monitoring of support systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Indirect line management responsibilities, including managing, training, and developing support staff.
  • Lead the administration of Arbor and School Money.
  • Be responsible for the management of resources, including budget management and regular audit.
  • Take a lead role in marketing and promoting the school via social media, the website, digital signage, and the school newsletter.
  • Manage facilities, including premises, lettings and associated income, and projects.
  • Manage financial administration procedures and take a lead role in planning, monitoring, and evaluating the budget.
