Job description

We are seeking an experienced School Chef to provide temporary cover at schools in and around the Southampton area. Monday to Friday only, 7.30am-1.30pm, £17.50ph. You MUST hold an Enhanced DBS check and have experience of school catering kitchens

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook a variety of healthy meals for students and staff, in line with school dietary requirements and policies.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Work closely with school staff to address any special dietary needs or preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a chef, within a school or similar setting.
• Enhanced DBS check required
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for preparing wholesome meals for students.
